Russian Roulette

🎲 No combat. No character advantages. Only luck decides who survives.

Russian Roulette is a fast elimination event hosted manually by a Game Master. Players face a sequence of random shots until only one survivor remains.

📢 How to Join

The Game Master starts Russian Roulette manually. When registration opens, an announcement appears in the center of the screen.

You have only 20 seconds to join. A maximum of 8 players can participate, and only the fastest eligible entries are accepted.

Your place is secured only after the server displays the following confirmation:

[ROULETTE] Participant [number]: [character] added!

Who Can Participate?

Russian Roulette has no character progression requirements. Your chance of winning is not affected by:

• Character level or Master Level
• Reset count
• Character class
• Guild membership
• Equipment or character stats
• PvP strength

⚠ 🏰 Castle Siege Server Restriction

You cannot join while your character is located on the 🏰 Castle Siege server. This includes:

• 🐺 Crywolf
• Land of Trials
• Barracks of Balgass

These maps are hosted by a separate GameServer. Move to a regular server map before registration begins.

🎲 How the Event Works

1. The Game Master opens event registration.
2. Players have 20 seconds to enter /want.
3. The server confirms each accepted participant.
4. Registration closes and Russian Roulette begins.
5. The Game Master selects a remaining player by opening trade with them.
6. The trade request triggers the Russian Roulette roll.
7. The player either survives or is eliminated.
8. The process continues until only one player remains.

No items need to be placed in the trade window. The trade is used only to trigger the shot.

The Shot Sequence

Before revealing the result, the server displays the following sequence:

• [ROULETTE] Putting the bullet in the drum ...!
• [ROULETTE] Turning the drum ...!
• [ROULETTE] Triggering ...!

Surviving a previous shot does not make the next shot safer or more dangerous. Several safe results or eliminations can occur consecutively.

Although the event is inspired by classic six-chamber Russian Roulette, MU.lv uses its own configured 25% elimination chance for every trigger.

Shot Results

The word "deleted" does not mean that your character is deleted. It only means that you have been removed from the current event. Your character, account, equipment and inventory remain safe.

🏆 Winner and Rewards

The last surviving player wins Russian Roulette.

The winner can receive a reward issued manually by the Game Master, an automatic server reward, or both, depending on the current event configuration.

Automatic rewards can include 💰WC, HP, GP or a configured reward bag.

Event Status Messages

• Opened - registration is available.
• Participant added - your character has successfully joined.
• Closed - registration has ended.
• Event started - Russian Roulette is active.
• Time is running out - the event is approaching its 15-minute limit.
• Canceled - the event ended without being completed.

❓ Why Was I Not Accepted?

If /want did not add your character, the most likely reasons are:

• The 20-second registration period had already ended.
• All 8 participant places had already been taken.
• You entered the command before registration opened.
• You were located on the 🏰 Castle Siege server.
• The event was closed or canceled by the Game Master.
