Anti-Cheat Update – Supported Platforms

Anti-Cheat Update – Supported Platforms

The upcoming anti-cheat update moves protection fully to kernel mode. The game will only start when the protection driver is loaded and active. Please check that your system is supported before the update.

Supported

• Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) – main supported platform.
• Windows 7 – 10 (32-bit) – supported.
• Intel Mac with Boot Camp – supported (runs native Windows).
• Virtual machines on an Intel/AMD computer (VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, Parallels on Intel Mac) – supported.

Not supported

• Apple Silicon Mac (M1, M2, M3, M4) – in any form, including Parallels, VMware Fusion or other virtual machines. These Macs run Windows for ARM, and the protection driver does not support ARM.
• Windows on ARM devices (Snapdragon laptops, Surface Pro X and similar) – same reason as above.
• Linux, including Wine, Proton, Lutris and Steam Deck.
• Windows with Test Mode enabled – Test Mode must be turned off.

Not confirmed

• Windows 8 / 8.1 – not listed separately by the developer, expected to work.
• Cloud gaming PCs (e.g. Shadow) – runs regular x86 Windows and is expected to work, but not tested by us. Try a short plan first.
• Windows XP / Vista – not supported officially.

What changes for you

• The game must be started as administrator.
• After the first launch or update, you will be asked to restart your computer once.
• The protection runs as a Windows service that starts with Windows. It does not connect to the internet or our servers by itself.
• If you want to remove it, use Uninstaller (Remove PSGG).exe in the game folder.

How to check your processor

• Windows: Settings → System → About → System type. It must say x64-based processor or x86-based processor. If it says ARM-based processor, your device is not supported.
• Mac: Apple menu → About This Mac. If you see Chip: Apple M…, your Mac is not supported. If you see Processor: Intel, use Boot Camp or a virtual machine.

If you are not sure whether your system is supported, open a ticket on our Support before the update.
