🛠️ How to Fix MU Online Game Not Launching

If your MU Online game client is not starting, it could be due to incorrect Windows Registry entries — especially if youve played other MU servers or installed other games that overwrite shared values.

🔧 Use the Built-in Repair Tools

Inside your MU Online installation directory, go to:

/Scripts/ folder

This folder contains several helpful tools:

• fix_main.reg – Corrects the Windows registry path for main.exe. This is the most important fix if the game wont launch at all.
• *.reg – Preset resolution fixes (640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, etc.)
• _fullscreen_mode.reg – Forces Full Screen mode
• _window_mode.reg – Sets game to Windowed mode

📝 How to Apply the Registry Fix

1. Close the game and launcher completely.
2. Go to your MU folder → open the /Scripts subfolder.
3. Double-click fix_main.reg.
4. Confirm when Windows asks to apply changes to the registry.
5. Restart the launcher and try launching the game again.

💡 Alternative via Launcher

The game launcher includes the same functionality in its settings/options tab:

• Change screen resolution
• Switch between windowed/full screen mode
• Fix registry if not launching
